KMAQ Radio Station

Maquoketa is my hometown. I currently live in Mesa, AZ. I retired from the Iowa DNR in 2009 where my last position was at Maquoketa Caves State Park. I am working part-time at an Ace Hardware Store in Mesa.

In my free time I hike, mountain bike and do outdoor/wildlife photography. Specifically I look for rattlesnakes, scorpions and trantulas. They are my favorites. I also volunteer at the Phoenix Herpetological Society and when summer returns will help with rattlesnake relocation from residences.

My wife Denise works at St. Lukes Medical Center in Phoenix as an R.N. in Behavioral Health.

We are loving sunny Arizona and enjoy or time exploring all the new areas around the valley.
